Paintings Flying Off the Easel!

I have been so busy painting these days! I have completed a second painting this week. I usually have several paintings going at once. I have been very moved by the plight of the wild horses that I wanted to do a painting that captures the death of that wild spirit. You can see the reflection of the bars in the eye of this wild horse.

Freedom Lost

I have had so many wonderful comments on my Baroque ACEO that I decided to go ahead and paint it in acrylics. I am very happy with the result. Titled Baroque 3 (for want of a better name) I am very pleased with the result. I am looking for a better title so feel free to suggest a new name in the comments area of the blog! Available fo sale on my website.

The Painting is completed!

Here is the completed painting. I removed the bridles and sharpened up the detail. I hope you enjoy it! The second painting is the WIP from below. I added the first wash of the bridle and continued with the glazing.
