Boston Terrier Completed

I have completed the portrait of Pugsley the Boston terrier. The owner was thrilled so that is a huge relief!! I am very happy with how it came out. So it back to painting the horses.
Now for some Thanksgiving cheer!
This is our most loved turkey, Mr Nilsen aka Nilly Gobbles. He is a broad breasted white aka a Butterball turkey. We rescued him 2 years ago from becoming someone's Thanksgiving dinner. We absolutely adore him! The second turkey is the young lady, Daisy. She is Bourbon Red and another Thanksgiving dinner refuge. We have a third hen ,Sally Sassy Lashes but no photos as of yet.As my son says... they will be coming TO Thanksgiving dinner not FOR dinner!

Boston Terrier WIP

It back to the dogs again! This is a portrait of a delightful little fellow named Pugsley. It is still in the WIP (Work In Progress) stage but coming down the homestretch. Still have work to do on the fur, ears, nose and mouth. I am very happy with how this one is coming along. It measures 14 x 11 and is acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas.
